Books Collected within the Scope of Our Book Donation Campaign Delivered to Mardin Derik Çadırlı Secondary School!

The book donation campaign organized with the slogan “Reading Generations, Strong Tomorrows! Our Books Are at Mardin Derik Çadırlı Secondary School!” was successfully completed within the scope of the Community Service Practices Course carried out in the Social Studies Teaching Program of Fırat University Faculty of Education.

Within the scope of the project carried out under the supervision of the course instructor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Çakar Çelik, the collected books were delivered to the students of Çadırlı Secondary School in the Derik district of Mardin. The campaign aimed to support students’ reading culture, increase their access to books, and contribute to the school library.

This meaningful project, carried out by the students of the Social Studies Teaching Program with a sense of community service, also contributed to the development of solidarity, cooperation, and social responsibility awareness among students.

As the Department of Social Studies Education, we would like to thank our course instructor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Çakar Çelik, our students who contributed to the campaign, and all supporters who donated books for their valuable contributions to this meaningful project.
