Social Studies Teaching Orientation Program Successfully Held

The Department of Social Studies Teaching at Fırat University Faculty of Education successfully organized an Orientation Program for first-year students.

The program was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Nuri Gömleksiz, the Head of the Department of Turkish and Social Sciences Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esen Durmuş, faculty members, and students. Following the opening speeches, information was provided about the department’s academic structure, course content, the facilities of the faculty, university life, and the city of Elazığ.

At the end of the program, students’ questions were answered, providing clarity on topics of interest. Participants emphasized that the program made a significant contribution to students’ adaptation to university life.
